Product Info
One jacket, two faces – and all the charm of artisanal India
A bohemian chic style, a vibrant weave, and a touch of India in every detail: HANA is a reversible kimono jacket born from a crush in Sanganer, in a workshop with precious know-how.
The main fabric, a hand-spun and hand-woven salmon-colored khadi, features an irregular weave called "thick and thin" : a vibrant, authentic material full of character. The inner lining reveals a blockprint with blue lotus motifs, hand-printed according to the artisanal tradition of Rajasthan.
The jacket can be worn plain or printed, depending on your mood. Its kimono cut flatters all body types, and its reversible belt allows you to play with styles: loose and flowing, or fitted at the waist.

Blockprint creations
Blockprinting is a completely artisanal work that makes each piece a unique creation. Slight irregularities in the patterns or shades are evidence of the manual and authentic manufacturing process. Far from being defects, these small imperfections add character and make each piece unique, bearing the unique imprint of the craftsman who made it, for a result that is both original and precious.

A complex creative process
The making of wooden blocks for Indian blockprinting is an art in itself. From selecting the wood to carefully carving the designs, each step requires great expertise and a keen eye for detail. The different types of blocks – from outlines to fills, borders and background details – each play a key role in creating the intricate and colourful designs that are characteristic of Indian blockprinting.
