All creations sold by India Sampatti are made from natural fibers, cotton, linen or wool.

NARROWING
During the dyeing and printing processes, the fabric is washed several times. This ensures complete dye penetration and removes any excess dye on the surface. This process ensures that there will be no further shrinkage after sewing.

WASHING
All naturally dyed fabrics tend to bleed during the first 2-3 washes. Excess dye is removed during these first washes. Naturally dyed fabrics require special care due to the specific properties of the dyes.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Delicate hand wash or dry clean only.
  • Wash separately in cold water.
  • Do not leave to soak in water.
  • If they are natural dyes, to preserve the brightness of the colors, add a handful of salt during the first wash.
  • To reduce the fading effect, turn your clothes inside out, especially dark colors.
  • Do not dry in direct sunlight.
  • Do not use fabric softeners, bleach or starch.

IRONING
Always iron at a warm to hot temperature, ideally inside out. Do not dampen the fabric while ironing.
