Product Info
AMA is a green wool stole.
It is hand woven and dyed using the bandhani technique.
The Bandhani technique involves tying the fabric and then dipping it in dye to create patterns when untied. The artisan is an expert at repeating patterns. Here the scarf has white diamond-shaped patterns and a gradient of green from almond green to dark green.
Handwork makes each stole a unique product.
- Hand woven
- 100% wool
Dimensions: 200 x 63 cm

Blockprint creations
Blockprinting is a completely artisanal work that makes each piece a unique creation. Slight irregularities in the patterns or shades are evidence of the manual and authentic manufacturing process. Far from being defects, these small imperfections add character and make each piece unique, bearing the unique imprint of the craftsman who made it, for a result that is both original and precious.
A complex creative process
The making of wooden blocks for Indian blockprinting is an art in itself. From selecting the wood to carefully carving the designs, each step requires great expertise and a keen eye for detail. The different types of blocks – from outlines to fills, borders and background details – each play a key role in creating the intricate and colourful designs that are characteristic of Indian blockprinting.
