This art of weaving is passed down from generation to generation, it is an ode to meticulousness and creativity. Each thread, carefully selected, becomes the bearer of an ancient story. Something that may seem surprising to us as Westerners is that the weaver works barefoot: we know that hands and feet have thousands of nerve endings; so by weaving barefoot, the weaver has information on the tension of the thread, the humidity level, etc. which allows him to continue working while taking into account all these parameters which will have an impact on the quality of his work!
