The history of this piece
Conceived in Jaipur, in a small sewing workshop where we worked for several days, the ROSY dress was born from my desire to create a piece that was both elegant and functional. I designed this cut with pleats sewn on the bust, a removable belt, practical pockets and a fluid line that suits all silhouettes.
On the day the sample was made, I saw the dressmaker in charge of the pleats dedicate almost his entire day to it. Finding this enormous work for a single dress, I was initially hesitant to launch production.
But the manager told me, “He’s happy to do this job: more folds, more pay.” So I said yes!
For the fabric, I chose this floral blockprint in shades of pink: delicate, soft, and timeless. Printed by hand, each pattern bears the mark of craftsmanship.
